Police Line Up at 2009 Classic Motor Show

BIRMINGHAM, UNITED KINGDOM – August 4, 2009: Evenin’ all... No matter what your age, whether you’re from the Dixon of Dock Green, Z Cars or Juliet Bravo generation, there’s bound to be a panda car or jam sandwich which will make you go all nostalgic at the 2009 Classic Motor Show, held from 13-15th November at Birmingham’s NEC. And hopefully, for all the right reasons...
First off, there’s the Police Car UK stand which will be showing an arresting line up of no fewer than six classic British Police vehicles.
Complementing the 2009 CMS theme of great driving roads, the stand will be focused on ‘50 years policing Britain’s Motorways’, featuring patrol cars from four decades – the Fifties, Sixties, Seventies and Eighties.

Vintage classic motor

Tiffany Classic Elite Coupe

This is the last year that Classic Motor Carriages in Miami, built the Tiffany & this one was actually built in 1989, on a brand new Mercury Cougar, so the Vin# is 1988 Mercury & thats how the car is titled. This is a one owner California car, from a collector who has many exotic cars. The Tiffany is our very best selling Neo-Classic car ever, with well over 87 sold to date. This one is very special & was actually called the Tiffany Elite model, since not many came with the rare opera carriage roof, power moon roof, gold plated grille and other parts, leather trunk straps with luggage rack, and with only 15,000 original miles, the car is like new & can be used as a daily driver, & great on major highways. has ice cold climate controlled air conditioning, heater, premium sound system with am/fm/stereo, w/cassette, dual folding armrests, auto light dimmers, keyless entry, full red leather interior, tinted windows,  pinstripes,6 real chrome wire wheels, wide white Vogue gold line radials, dual side mounted-real spare tires w/covers, good size trunk, full digital dash, powered by a peppy 5.0 Multi Port fuel injected V8, with automatic transmission & overdrive, power seats, windows, locks, mirrors, trunk, brakes & steering, 4 trumpet horns, twin fog lamps,  badge bar w/2 badges, opera windows, cruise control & tilt leather wrapped steering wheel, dual light up vanity mirrors, 18 1/2 feet long, with 145 inch wheelbase, very easy to drive, & has a 25 gallon gas tank. these cars would be well over $85,000. to build today-with Zimmers costing around $110,000. a very rare model .

Porsche 356

This is a very authentic looking 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster replica, from Classic Motor Carriages in Miami, & was built & titled in 2000, & has a clean, lien free Florida title, & titled as a 2000 SPEE which is short for Speedster, I imagine, and showing just around 8500 miles. looks very rich in the black gel coat finish with the tan top, interior, has the rear engine VW engine, & with a total weight of only 1720 pounds, the car is very fast indeed, & sticks to the road like a go cart. even has a rear jump seat for kids, pets, or groceries & has plug in side curtains. has Porsche styled baby moon hub caps, & Porsche emblems, & gets great gas mileage. a super fun beach cruiser-just in time for Spring & Summer. originals are now way over $75,000. and not as fast & hard to keep running. anyone can work on these VW engines and parts are very cheap, & with the fiberglass body, there will never be a rust problem-ever. has storage space up front, where the gas tank is located. we might have to work on the top, since it has shrunk over the years & wont snap down. we might even have to replace it-totally. a great little fun car.
